White Cliffs Community Rail Partnership
With passion, pride, and future projects we are aiming to reinvigorate our stations showing how much of a community asset they are!

Plans and Projects

Train passing through Dover, Shakespeare Beach.
We have worked together as a partnership, conducting station checks and listening to our communities about what they want to see at our stations to improve our current facilities.
Supporting our local community groups, assets, residents and visitors with projects to develop our railway and our towns.
We aim to make our stations more attractive to the eye by bringing in some colour with new community gardens and artwork.
To help promote sustainable travel not only do we want to encourage travel by train but also to then explore Kent's English Garden by following some of our cycling and walking routes.
Rail to Trail
Come and join us for some guided walks from our stations and explore some beautiful walks in Folkestone & Dover as part of the White Cliffs Community Rail Partnership.
Lead by the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership team, these walks will be a treat for the mind, body, and soul, learning about local history and nature from our beautiful surroundings.

In December 2021 we attended Dover Priory and Folkestone Central to spread some festive cheer and engage with rail users about the White Cliffs Community Rail Partnership.
We made Christmas decorations from natural materials and spread the word about our projects.
In 2022 we continued to spread the joy by making wreaths out of natural decorations to engage and promote the White Cliffs CRP.
The partnership has published its annual report for 2023, and work is underway for our latest report from 2023 - 2024.

We were very pleased to have achieved our top goal in 2023 which was to become an accredited CRP!
In February of 2024 our Line Officer Rebecca travelled up to Southeastern Head Office for a meeting with Southeastern and Community Rail Network for the accreditation meeting.
With the thumbs up and portfolio completed, a report was sent to Department of Transport for review.
We are proud to announce we are now an accredited CRP
