How to Use the Unified Census Enumeration District Finder

This is the Unified Census Enumeration District Finder website.

At the top of the screen, you will notice a dropdown menu with a year.

Select the census year, for example 1950.

Fill in the address information as best you can.

Add in cross or back streets on the same city block to narrow your results.

If you need help determining what the cross and back streets might be, click “see google map.”

You have now entered all the information needed to look up the enumeration district for this address.

You should now have some results available!

You may have more than one enumeration district to choose from. Here we see two districts, for example: 101-10 and 101-61.

This means you will need to browse the census pages for both districts.
