A Pedestrian Connectivity and Beautification Project
Project Overview

Revitalize Rose Avenue: A Pedestrian Connectivity and Beautification Project spans from Frederick Street to Glenavon Avenue on the northside of Rose Avenue. In addition this project will create pedestrian connections to the existing Frederick Street Park. The overall project consists of the following elements:
- 14,000 sf. of aggregate sidewalk
- 10,000 sf. of new water-wise landscaped area
- 6 New ADA access ramps
- Crosswalks at Courtland Street and Penmar Avenue
- Lighting enhancements at crosswalks
- Existing driving and bicycle lanes will remain in place
- Tree protection bumpout
Revitalize Rose Avenue will be generously funded by the Office of Councilwoman Traci Park, Council District 11. This project will be designed and implemented by the Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA).
