Endangered Species since 2007

Poem by Mathilde Blind

Blossom of the apple trees! Mossy Trunks all gnarled an hoary, Grey boughs tipped with rose-veined glory, Clustered petals soft as fleece Garlanding old apple trees!

Wild Daffodil

Native to Western Europe, this bright yellow flower can be found in forests, grasslands, and rocky terrains. The bulbs and leaves are poisonous when ingested so keep you pets from munching!

Poem by William Wordsworth

For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, and dances with the daffodils.

Be sure to check out community-based visual artist, Ashley Minner's Mapping the Reservation Project; "an in-progress project, chronicling the history and continued presence of American Indian peoples in what is today known as East Baltimore, with a particular focus on the twentieth and twenty-first centuries."
