Using a real car, learn about the tools and techniques firefighters use to stabilize a vehicle and cut through metal to safely remove someone after a crash. Field Day & Graduation Saturday, May 3 at Longmont Fire Training Center (111 1st Avenue, Longmont) The grand finale of Citizens Academy is a morning at the Fire Training Center, where participants will learn a few last skills, including cutting through a roof, breaking down a locked door, and searching for victims in a smokey environment!
