A French Connection
This is a story of our stay with Tony and Lynn Clark in the Aquataine Region of France
Tony and Lynn Clark...the couple in the middle of the picture, were our Workaway hosts, for our stay in the Aquataine Region of Southern France.

Tony and Lynn's Home.

The view from their home includes local farms and the Pyrenees Mountains.

Tony and Lynn live near the village of Araujuzon.

We stayed with Tony and Lynn and helped them with tasks around their homestead as they prepare their to be a bed and breakfast and much more!
Our stay came complete with a comfortable room and in suite bath.
Here is Jenny working on the trough flower garden that we helped Tony move across the front yard.
Working in the garden picking currents.
Cleaning mortar from the brick in the upstairs bedroom fireplace.

To add to the incredible food and the graciousness of our hosts....they also have a wonderfully well behaved special dog named Otto. Otto naturally sits pretty!
Tony and Lynn fed us well and provided an authentic and enriching experience. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them. Our evenings were filled with wonderful conversation. It seems we are kindred spirits.
Thanks to the encouragement and support of Tony and Lynn, Jenny and Andy went to the Pyrenees Mountains to do some camping and exploring.
We headed towards Lescun in the Valley of Aspe, along the Gave d'Aspe River
Lescun is a mountain village at the base of Pic d"Anie

It was an ideal French countryside experience and our hosts could not have been any more welcoming. Thank you Tony and Lynn.
