Gardena New Park Designs
Project Overview
The City of Gardena New Park Designs is a planning and design process designed to identify new park sites and conceptual design plans for the new parks for future uses and amenities.
The Plan will include a vacant and underutilized lot inventory of potential new park sites in the City, prioritizing park access gap areas identified in the City's 2024 Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The City will then select 3 sites to design park concepts.
The project team will conduct a series of public engagement events including community workshops and pop-up events. All project engagement events will be family-friendly and open to anyone who lives, works, or plays within the City of Gardena. Gathering feedback from people of all ages and demographic backgrounds is of upmost importance.
