This is Malmö
Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden and has a population of 350,000. It is located in the southernmost region of the country known as Öresund. This region includes the Danish capital Copenhagen and is home to around four million people.
This is Malmö University
Malmö University is a young university characterised by global engagement, community involvement, and a multidisciplinary, challenge-based approach to education, research and collaboration.
We have around 24,000 students, 265 PhD students, and 2,100 members of staff. Spread throughout the city, our urban campus is based in eight buildings.
Niagara
The Niagara building is home to the faculties of Technology and Society, Culture & Society and several departments. It houses a number of classrooms and lecture halls, labs, a cafeteria, a restaurant, and much more. Niagara is located near the Malmö Central Station.
Orkanen
The Orkanen building is the largest of the University buildings. It houses the main University Library. It is also home to Faculty of Education and Society, which offers three international master's programmes: Education: Educational Theory , Sport Sciences: Sport in Society (1 and 2 year) , and Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (1 and 2 year) .
Gäddan
The Gäddan building is home to the Department of Social Work, which is part of the Faculty of Health and Society. Gäddan is also the home of the Storm Innovation Hub.
Faculty of Health and Society
Located on the Malmö University Hospital campus, the Faculty of Health and Society building houses the departments of Care Sciences and Criminology. It is located a short distance from the Triangeln railway station.
Forskaren
Forskaren is located near the Medeon Science Park. The building is home to the Faculty of Health and Society and the department of Biomedical Science. The building houses the Biofilms Research Center for Biointerfaces.
