AGIC Symposium News

Save the date! The 2023 AGIC Education and Training Symposium is planned for August 29th through September 1st, 2023 at the Prescott Resort!  This year marks 30 years of the AGIC Symposium and we are excited to have you join us in celebration!

You will not want to miss the keynote speaker - Dr. Joseph Kerski, geographer, educator, and author.  Those who receive emails from the AGIC-L listserv may recognize his many posts that focus on GIS in education.  Read more about Dr. Kerski on  his website .

The AGIC Conference Committee is seeking a t-shirt design for this year's event. Our t-shirt design contest has become an annual opportunity to share your creativity and love of all things GIS with the AGIC Community. If your design is chosen, you'll receive free registration to attend this year's symposium AND have your design prominently featured on the Symposium t-shirts and website. The contest closes April 28. Click  here  to learn about the contest guidelines and submission details.

Each year the Symposium offers the opportunity to showcase your accomplishments, share your expertise and celebrate your hard work. Plan now to present at the Symposium and participate in the Maps & Apps Contest! Abstract and map submissions will be open soon. Keep your eyes open for announcements on AGIC-L and AGIC social media channels. We want to learn about what cool projects you have been working on so think about sharing your story and presenting this year!
