VMT Map

This section provides an interactive VMT map by traffic analysis zone (TAZ), City boundary, and for the County as a whole.

VMT Map Application

VMT is generated from the SBTAM+ released in 2024. The VMT map is shown dynamically for the County or by city and TAZ, including detailed VMT metrics and socioeconomic data. The information includes attributes such as total VMT per service population, home-based-work (HBW) VMT per employee, and home-based (HB) VMT per capita. Information for the Base Year 2019 and the Future Year 2050 is provided as noted.

To use the map, zoom in on the map to find each agency boundary. Zoom in further to access TAZ boundaries. Use the layers interface to the left to load appropriate boundaries based on your zoom level. Click on the geography available to obtain information for that area.
