Mission Statement
To provide person to person citizen diplomacy through cultural, educational and professional exchange programs, to develop global leaders and promote mutual respect and friendships for the city of Tempe and our Sister Cities.
The reach of Tempe Sister Cities exchange program goes far and wide. Many delegates of different backgrounds, nationalities, and cultures have all had the honor to travel to beautiful and historically rich countries around the world. Hackett House
The Hackett House stands as Tempe Sister Cities headquarters. Built in 1888, it's located in the heart of downtown Tempe. With events like cooking classes with highly trained chef's called "Cuisines of the World" and educational opportunities for children, there's no shortage of fun memories made at this historical site.
Four Peaks Oktoberfest
What's better than great food, live music, a polka stage and carnival games? All of the above! Oktoberfest has been an annual tradition for Tempe Sister Cities for 46 years.
