Interior Plains

The interior plains regions were originally formed when cratons collided and welded together. This entire region is generally flat in elevation, but has many stages: hills,cliffs, low mountains , forests, wide river valleys, and sand dunes. It has sedimentary, metamorphic, igneous rocks and granite.
