Visit Mariemont, Perintown, Harmony Hill, Felicity, and Utopia

This map and its embedded images suggest only some of the content of this bicycle tour. For the stories behind these places and why they are important, we hope you will read our book, Bicycling Through Paradise .
This is a long tour, starting in Mariemont, east of Cincinnati. We’ll ride through historic small towns further east, then turn south and descend into the Ohio River Valley. We’ll cross the river on the Augusta Ferry and end at Augusta, Kentucky. The terrain is rolling to hilly, and there are some traffic-y stretches where special caution is required. The tour is composed of eight segments. Total one-way distance is a little over 83 miles, but each segment is fun to ride independently and has something historic to see. Each segment starts and stops in places where you can find parking, food, and bathrooms. There are bed-and-breakfasts at the halfway point (Batavia) and at the three-quarters point (Bethel), and at the end point in Augusta.
