The story between Kingston and me
The first time I went to Kingston was winter 2020 and I really though that was a freeze city because of the weather there was so cold. During the reading week in this term I went to Kingston to visit my friend again and I found that Kingston is such a beautiful and comfortable city with the lake. I stay at my friend's house everytime when i go to Kingston, and the photo on the left was taken on the roof of the apartment where my friend's living place is located.I hope my story map can share my feeling and the landscape for you.
About Kingston
Most of people know about Kingston because the Queen's university. But they do not know about the city culture .

The place I always go
Every times the buildings of Queen's university always attracted me so much. If we set the topic for Laurier I will choose "Green", but for the Queen's I will choose "Classical art"

The lake of Kingston
The lake in Kingston can be said to be a must-see place in every trip I take, it takes almost 20-30 minutes to walk along the shore from end to end, every time I walk with my best friend on the lakeside path we will talk about the past stories and future plans, blowing the lake breeze and drinking coffee, this feeling is like "you have been standing for a lifetime but finally lying down in those 20 minutes ".
The meadow next to Kingston Lake is not only a great place to walk your dog, but the sunlight through the leaves and the grass under the shade of the trees provide a great environment for a picnic.
After dinner, Kingston Lake is a different scene, people like to walk here while watching the sunset, for those who like photography this is the perfect place to shoot, and for couples this is also a very romantic dating spot

Path and activity around the lake
From the map above we can find that the whole city is sits on the edge of the lake and the path along the lake completely outlines the shape of that lake. Also on the far right of the path is a man-made beach, some student or local residents love to having fun in that beach. The student from Queen university always have an activity called "Lake Jumping".
