Welcome to An Garda Síochána's interactive traffic management plan for the ploughing championships. We are encouraging you not to use SAT NAV and to follow the dedicated routes shown on the map. Garda resources are allocated to these routes to help get you to ploughing site in a safe and timely manner.

An Garda Siochana are requesting all road users to avoid the N80 at Stradbally and all approach roads to Ratheniska village from Tuesday 17 th of September at 6am to Thursday 19 th of September at 8pm. Gardai are urging road users to avail of alternative routes during these times.”
The assistance of all road users is required to allow Traffic to move freely to and from the event during these times.

Purple Route - Dublin/Leinster or the North are advised to take the Purple Route.
Brown Route - Traffic from Limerick/Kerry,/South west
Green Route - Traffic from the West / North West
Yellow Route - Traffic from Carlow / South East
Grey Route - Traffic from Kilkenny / South East
