Sacramento is a dry city and suffers many wildfires; Minneapolis is near the Canadian border which suffers from occasional wildfires due to the recently dry and warmer conditions. This should serve to motivate cities like Minneapolis to adopt renewable energy and minimize their carbon emissions. Not only do carbon emissions and greenhouse gasses lead to poor air quality but they are also a contributing factor to wildfires which are being caused by increasing global temperatures.
