Heavy Snow & Gusty Winds Bring Hazardous Travel Conditions

NOHRSC interpolated snowfall accumulations across the Upper Midwest during the February 9-10, 2020 Winter storm.

A winter storm brought heavy snow to much of central Wisconsin on Sunday, February 9th, which created hazardous travel conditions. The snow moved in from the west by midnight and continued eastward through the afternoon producing snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. The highest snowfall amounts were generally located from west central Wisconsin to east central Wisconsin, where amounts were in the 8 to 12 inch range.
