Mary Emily Stonebridge

I graduated with a Bachelors in GIS with a concentration in Human-Environment in Spring 2010.

Additionally, I recently acquired my Masters in GIS from Mississippi State University with the support of my employer and their tuition reimbursement program.

I began my career after school with smaller GIS Technician and Analyst roles at local companies such as Rolta International and Davey Tree, before advancing to a Senior GIS Analyst and IT Manager position at NuGlobal Solutions. NuGlobal Solutions is an environmental, engineering, and climate change consulting firm that works on contracts at various military installations for the Department of Defense. Currently, I work on projects ranging from PFAS groundwater cleanup to storm surge and sea level rise mitigation.

I would say yes, the GIS courses at KSU absolutely helped me enter my career by equipping me with practical GIS software skills, theoretical knowledge, and hands-on experience essential for success in my field.
