Neff Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements Project
Welcome!

At the bottom of this website, there is a survey link that will allow inputs from April 7th to 21st, 2025.
Introduction to the Project
Neff Road connects to schools, parks, trails, medical facilities and more — places that kids, parents, commuters and others in the City traveling east to west need to reach. Neff Road is identified on the GO Bond project list as one of the Citywide Key Routes to improve safe travel on a connected system for pedestrians and bicyclists including improvements that leverage existing bike/ped systems by providing protected and/or buffered bike lanes, connecting to existing or future Bend Park and Recreation District off street paths, and/or provide sidewalk infill.
For more information including background and funding information please visit the City's project website here .

Funding Options
In response to the existing needs/opportunities along the corridor, project goals, and community feedback, the project team has developed and evaluated a range of potential improvements for the Neff Rd and Norton Ave Key Routes as well as the Hillside Trail connection between them. As summarized below, these improvement alternatives have been combined into three preferred options based on available project budget ($3.59M) and potential additional funding ($2.4M).
