A map comparing liquor stores and hospitals

The layers on my map are the locations of hospitals and liquor stores. The liquor stores represents that you could buy cigarettes there. This affects our community because if one person smokes, other people could inhale that air too. I added the locations of hospitals because if you smoke too much you would eventually end up in a hospital.

A solution to help stop smoking is to move liquor stores away from schools or homes so students or younger kids won't be affected by cigarettes. The law in California prohibits smoking within 20 feet of any public building but I think we should change that to a safer distance and make it 40 feet. Another solution is to reduce the number of liquor stores so that some people will see a sign to quit because there are not any liquor stores around them.
