The Last Chance Curling Club started with a group of five friends and their passion for curling. In the fall of 2019, the team decided to join the Copper City Curling League down in Butte, Montana. These first-time curlers were excited to learn about the sport and The Spirit of Curling, but driving down to Butte every Sunday night and back to Helena got a little old. Since Helena was one of the only bigger cities in Montana to not have a curling club, they decided they should try to make that happen. Starting in 2020, the plans to create the Last Chance Curling Club started. The inaugural curling season started in January 2021 with a Learn to Curl and 2 sessions of league play. From there the curling fever swept through the Helena community. Thank you for your support, Helena!

The Last Chance Curling Club hosts multiple events throughout the year, including the following (more information under  Frequently Asked Questions ) - League (Thursday's beginning at 10:30pm) - Learn to Curl/Open Curl (Steed Arena) - LCCC Bonspiels (Creepy Sweepy Bone-Spiel, Philipsburg Outdoor Spiel (co-host)) - Private Curling

How do I learn more about LCCC? Visit our  website  for club information, calendar and contact information! What is Curling League? Curing league begins in the fall and continues through the following spring. The club hosts 3 separate sessions (fall, winter, and spring). Each session is 9-10 weeks. Fall and Winter leagues are held from 10:30pm-12:30am on Thursday evenings. The spring league is generally held from 6pm-8pm, and 8pm-10pm (2 separate sessions). Create your own team or join a sub list; all skill levels are allowed. Participants/members must pay a $30 club fee (associated with league registration).  Steed Arena  hosts all curling events and utilizes 5 sheets.

How do I learn more about LCCC events? LCCC hosts multiple events throughout the season, including Learn to Curl events. The club has multiple Level 1 Instructors to teach fundamentals. Check out our social media accounts ( Facebook  and  Instagram ) for announcements, or visit our  Calendar  page! I'm interested in hosting a private curling event. Can you provide additional information? Please review our ' Private Curling Opportunities ' document or send an email to lastchancecurlingclub.com and we'll respond with information and expectations. We'll review requirements and provide an overview of the event. A  stone rental agreement  and coordination with Steed Area is expected.

What is a stone sponsorship? Please send an email to lastchancecurlingclub.com and we'll respond with information and forms. Members and/or businesses can sponsor a stone for $300, with the name advertised on a curling stone!
