Public Map Viewer User Guide

Upon opening the map viewer, select your desired map from the top left row:

To navigate the map view, scroll + click to pan and zoom or use the tools in the top left corner of the map:

To view different basemaps, use the basemap switcher in the top right corner. Here you can also find the measure tool for taking map measurements.

The search bar searches addresses by default. Select the drop-down on the left of the search bar to search a range of datasets, such as by a water assets Short ID

The map legend shows you which datasets you are currently viewing, and allows switching between them. The drop-down menus allow you to toggle specific layers on or off by clicking the eye icon. Below this, the legend shows which symbology corresponds to each attribute type.

The toolbar at the bottom left of the screen contains an add data tool, a printing tool, a draw tool and bookmarks of key locations within the district.

Once zoomed into the map, selecting a record will bring up a pop-up with attribute information. The arrows can be used to find your desired record if multiple are selected.

By selecting the draw tool and your desired draw mode, you can annotate the map as desired.

The bookmarks widget allows you to navigate to frequently visited locations within the district.

Measurements can be made by clicking the ruler in the top right-hand corner of the map, and then from your desired start point on the map. Double click to complete the measurement.

The print widget allows you to create printable maps. Use the Advanced section to add legends and other options. Click the Print result tab to see and download your output.
