  • The Red trail takes you in a short circular walk past the Mont Chinchon Battery and Le Trépied Dolmen then through the National Trust Land and back to the headland
  • The Blue trail includes a short coastal walk to/from the bus stop at the Perelle slipway

There are two easy entry points to this expanse of Trust land. If arriving by car, it is possible to park at a nearby coastal spot on the headland corner and enjoy Le Trépied Dolmen and Mont Chinchon Battery en route to NTG land.

Alternatively at a lower inland level, there is an entry point at Rue des Bordes which passes up and through Trust land before reaching Le Trépied Dolmen and Mont Chinchon Battery, finishing on a downward slope towards the coast Perelle coast road.

If approaching from the coastal car park entrance, pass both historic monuments and carry on along the well trodden path traversing a hillocky field. An NTG carved boulder commemorating the 1966 bequest of land in memory of Marie Randall MBE is unmissable and marks the start of Trust land.

If approaching from the lower, inland entrance, look out for the National Trust stone at the field entrance along Rue des Bordes.

The highest vantage point of this land offers panoramic views from Lihou Island to Vazon beach. Particularly beautiful at sunset and good blackberry picking from late summer to early autumn.
