Gates Hardware
323 Mathew Brady Ave., Tulsa, OK
This building, now home to KSQ Designs and the Elgin Park Brew Pub, used to be the old Gates Hardware Building. During site grading, the developers found an unusual underground storage tank--a 1920s train car that contained a mix of crude oil and water. The site was addressed through the OCC Brownfield Program and Petroleum Storage Tank Division.
The Gates Hardware site sits right next to the BOK Ballpark in the heart of Tulsa.
