UNCW Route
If my family or friends were to visit me at UNCW, this is the day trip I would design for us to go on.
Wilmington International Airport
My Family will start their trip in Wilmington, NC by flying into Wilmington International Airport. The Airport is located north of the UNCW campus.

Embassy Suites
After my family arrives to Wilmington, I'll help them check into their hotel at Embassy Suites. The hotel is all exclusive and located along Cape Fear River.
The Copper Penny
After my family has dropped off all their stuff at the hotel, we'll head to The Copper Penny for lunch. The Copper Penny is known for their burgers and house specialties.
Bellamy Mansion Museum
After lunch, we'll go on a tour of the Bellamy Mansion Museum. The Bellamy Mansion Museum was built between 1859-1861 and is one of North Carolina’s finest examples of historic antebellum architecture.
The Peppered Cupcake
Next, we'll stop for a quick snack at The Peppered Cupcake. The gourmet cupcakery was voted #1 best dessert in Wilmington by Yelp and Google.
Pilot House
After grabbing a cupcake, my family and I will enjoy a nice dinner at the Pilot House. It serves seafood with Southern flair served in a restored 19th-century house with a large riverside terrace.
Airlie Gardens
Our last stop will be at the Airlie Gardens. It was created in 1886 as a private garden for the Pembroke Jones family by Mrs. Jones.
