The Blackfeet Nation Tourism & Recreation Corridor Plan

The Blackfeet Reservation is studying opportunities to grow outdoor recreation and tourism in the area! The study will work with outdoor recreation providers, like existing reservation-owned campsites, tribal members and residents, and local businesses to identify options and conceptual plans to guide future development.

This project will:

• Assess market opportunities for summer/winter recreation based on area demographics, tourism and economic trends
• Provide a better understanding of site potential for new facilities and services
• Conduct a break-even financial analysis to understand revenue and visitation goals to support future operations
• Preliminary design of what future development might look like with associated capital and operational cost estimates

This study will take place from May-October 2023.
