Trails in this park follow Mission Creek and KLO Creek with stunning views of Layer Cake Mountain and Pinnacle Rock.

Trail closures: The Pinnacle Trail and a portion of Mission Creek Greenway east of KLO Creek in Scenic Canyon Regional Park will be closed for construction starting Monday, October 21 until the end of November 2024. This is in addition to a 1.7 km section of the Mission Creek Greenway closed due to damage from 2022 flooding. View our maps to plan your trip.
Scenic Canyon Regional Park is a 229 ha natural area in Southeast Kelowna with entrances at Hollywood Road South and Field Road. The Mission Creek Greenway runs through this park with easy to moderate sections, including stairs and bridges. There are many spectacular geological features like the Rock Ovens and Pinnacle Rock on Layer Cake Mountain.

Hours
Regional Parks are open dawn to dusk. Park hours shift seasonally.
Jan 1 to Feb 28 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mar 1 to May 31 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Jun 1 to Aug 31 - 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sept 1 to Oct 14 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Oct 15 to Dec 31 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter: Field Road and McCulloch Road vehicle entrances are closed due to reduced maintenance of parking areas and facilities from approximately November to March.

Directions
The parking lot for Scenic Canyon Regional Park can be found at the end of Field Road.
There is also a parking lot off Hollywood Road South.
There is a parking area off McCulloch Road.
