The community of Altadena is located within the Los Angeles River Watershed which is subject to water quality compliance. The proposed stormwater features will help capture, treat, and infiltrate surface flows.

Key Components

  • Catch basins will be constructed to divert surface runoff from dry-weather and wet-weather flows into the pre-treatment system
  • Pre-treatment systems will remove trash, sediment, oil, and other pollutants from entering the drywells
