Future capital projects
Given that the 2024-25 Capital Priorities program typically requests projects that are to be completed within a three-year window, the SCDSB has further accommodation pressures which will need to be addressed. The following list shows additional capital priorities required based upon municipal growth plans. These priorities are being monitored to ensure that the capital project aligns with the build out of their community.
Given the extensive residential growth expected to occur within Simcoe County, new schools, school replacement, and school additions will be necessary to accommodate our future students. Capital priorities will continue to evolve as growth progresses.
