Draper City’s snow removal crews remove snow from our roads every winter season starting November 1 through April 30. Crews are called out to plow after two inches of snow has accumulated on the roads. They strive to achieve bare pavement on all first-priority roads within 24 hours following a storm and aim to clear all remaining streets within 48 hours following a storm. Draper City also prepares for a storm by spreading salt brine to deice the roadways.

How do I rent a dumpster for residential use?

Dumpster reservations can be made in person at the front desk at City Hall. Or call (801) 576-6501 to reserve a dumpster and pay the rental fee by phone.

The dumpster rental program is intended for residential use only. Residents, neighborhood associations, homeowners associations, and volunteer groups located in Draper City may also use this program. Availability of dumpsters varies throughout the year and there may be a wait until time slots are available.
