Other features include restaurant-style dining, movie theater, spa, salon, physical therapy center, and two open-air private courtyards.

Completed in 2022 is the demolition and regrading of the former Central Waste Water Treatment Plant Site (CWWTP). The City of McHenry received approval of a $500,000 state grant for the demolition and site restoration of the CWWTP. The City is currently working with Shodeen Group to potentially redevelop the site.

The City of McHenry completed construction in 2023 for the new splash pad addition at Fort McHenry. The project also involved the expansion of the existing parking lot. The free to the public water feature was made possible by a $200,000.00 donation from the Rise Up Foundation and $125,000.00 donation from the City of McHenry.

The final design is what's defined as a Dutch Woonerf (Living Street). A living street functions as a multi-purpose space to allow for on-street festivals and events.
