AEG Boston 22Q4 Task Force

Clean Transportation

Advanced Energy Group has partnered with stakeholders in the public and private sectors to address air pollution resulting from fleets of buses and trucks in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the Boston metro area. Our task force created an interactive ArcGIS map showing areas with poor air quality, the location of fleets, and electric grid capacity constraints and opportunities to identify potential locations where fleet electrification would have the greatest impact. The task force will then meet with community leaders to discuss ways to leverage federal, state and local and excess grid capacity to electrify fleets of buses and trucks.

Taskforce Goal

SELECTED OBSTACLE STATEMENT

SELECTED 12-MONTH ACTION PLAN: GROUP #5

12 Month Solution

Identify target areas by considering overlap of:

  • Federal funding availability
