So what is a Köppen Climate Zone?

Koppen Climates were classified by Wladimir Köppen

He separated the world into 5 main climate regions (and then 30 sub-types):

Tropical Rainy, Dry, Warm Rainy, Snowy/Cold, and Polar.

So what's it based on?

Temperature and Precipitation data!

So how can I visualize it?

Think of the biomes! Each classification was designed to share similar vegetation types (Beck et al. 2018)
