Reimagining Victoria Street

Get involved in creating a better place for everyone

Introduction

Hertfordshire County Council and St Albans District Council are working in partnership to develop proposals for the transformation of Victoria Street in St Albans.

We are inviting local communities, businesses and visitors to take part in shaping the plans from an early stage. The survey was open for 6 weeks until 12th November 2024. Thank you to everyone who took part.

Why Victoria Street?

What could be included?

There are no proposals for Victoria Street yet. We want to hear from you how to make this area better and safer for everyone in the future.

Depending on community priorities, the Victoria Street project could include….

Get involved

What do you want people to see when they step out of the station for the first time?

How do you and your family want to feel while travelling along Victoria Street? How could we make the street better for local businesses?

What do you want to see on Victoria Street?

We want to hear what you think would make this route better for everyone.

The early engagement survey is now closed. We will be in touch again in early 2025 with an update about the project
