

2019 Threshold Evaluation
Summary of the Final 2019 Threshold Evaluation and the newly updated Threshold Dashboard.

Thresholds are the Tahoe Region's shared goals. The 2019 Threshold Evaluation is the seventh comprehensive evaluation of environmental conditions in the Lake Tahoe Region.

Status was reported for 112 of the 146 threshold standards in 2019. Seventy-nine percent of these standards are in attainment. The number of standards reported and the percentage of standards in attainment both increased from the 2015 Threshold Evaluation.

This image shows the distribution of the 146 threshold standards. Each icon represents a unique standard in each category. The green are standards in attainment, red are out of attainment and gray are standards where no status was determined for this evaluation.
Trends were reported for 79 standards, up from 66 standards in the 2015 Threshold Evaluation. Ninety-six percent of standards are either stable or improving.
