Our storymap

Great things about our community.

Some things we like about our community are the wonderful beach we have. It is an amazing body of water with a great beach area and cool attractions like the breakwall which helps to keep the waves down in our swimming zone/area. Another thing we like about are community are the sporting facilities that we have including the plex, the many baseball diamonds and the Pierson soccer fields. We also have great restaurants, We don't just have chain restaurants like many other towns. We have many wonderful independent restaurants too like Allan's Fireside and The Walker House.

Hopes for our community in the future.

Some hopes for our community are an indoor sports facility so we can keep up on our sports and physical activity. With some wishful thinking we would love to have a theme park, a trampoline park, and a NHL hockey team. I think these would help bring our community together and everyone would have lots of fun with at least one of these in our community.
