As the amount of data generated and available continues to grow exponentially, so does the need for managing and leveraging data to make informed decisions. Our Geospatial and Information Management (GeoIM) practice helps clients secure, organize and present digital information for easier access and analysis. We collaborate with clients to automate workflows, connect systems, create reports and, ultimately, increase productivity.

Our geospatial professionals focus on a project’s overall purpose and design data-driven dashboards and tools to optimize project delivery, connecting critical information to the process and outcomes.

From mapping and spatial analytics to interactive websites and mobile applications, our GeoIM teams work closely with planning, engineering, economics and stakeholder engagement professionals to develop a data management system that informs and supports the project development life cycle: from planning and design to stakeholder engagement, construction management and operations.

The GeoIM team is a cross sector practice of over 125 geographic information system (GIS) professionals, which supports 2,000+ GIS users within the company and works throughout our offices, combining strong local ties and an understanding of our clients and communities. Many of our professionals have specialized training on ways to integrate GIS into projects, solving complex problems while helping clients envision successful paths to project completion.

We leverage Esri ArcGIS technology to create innovative solutions. Esri is the leader in GIS and location intelligence. Our long-standing relationship with Esri spans more than 20 years. And, as a Platinum Partner in the Esri Partner Network, we align our strategic plan with Esri’s technology roadmap. We continually invest in our GeoIM program, and we are proud to have demonstrated the credentials to earn ArcGIS System Ready and Utility Network Management specialties. With these specialties, customers can be confident that HDR has proven expertise in ArcGIS technology, supporting specific solutions and implementation for utilities for water, electric and gas organizations.

HDR and Esri’s joint customer focus has evolved in recent years to include deployment and implementation of enterprise-wide geospatial solutions in the markets we serve. Our decision to establish a cross-company GeoIM program, and Esri’s effort to strengthen the partner program helped us elevate our partnership. As a result, we’ve obtained expertise in several industry specialties using Esri ArcGIS technology, and we are bringing new solutions to our clients — helping them with their toughest data challenges and important decisions.
