2022 Holiday Lights

For each of the last two years, we recorded the quantity and "quality" of holiday light displays for this entire neighborhood

This map shows the relative number of lights in 2022. A bigger bulb means more lights in that area! Pan and zoom around the map to see the whole neighborhood.

Each home was also given an almost entirely arbitrary "quality" score between 1 and 5. Generally, scores reflected the amount of lights, creativity, and perceived effort. Light-up dogs were valued highly. This map shows the top score of any home for each area, with the highest scores being bigger and warmer in color. A red bulb means there was a home rated with a 5!

The results were also compared with the 2021 holiday season. This map shows where there was an increase or decrease in holiday light displays. Overall, residents were feeling much more festive in 2022 compared with 2021!
