Facility Mapping for COVID-19 Response
Overview
Level 2 Facility Mapping is based on an ArcGIS Enterprise implementation of ArcGIS Indoors and provides the capability to view and manage facilities down to the indoor floorplan level. This level of detail supports situational awareness and reporting such as whether a facility is empty or occupied, who is assigned to a particular room, what their health status is, and other key details. The Level 2 solution utilizes the ArcGIS Indoors mobile application that allows you to track people outdoors, using GPS, to provide their last known location as well as review where they have been if the need arises. At Level 2, the mobile solution leverages proximity so users can visually orient themselves from where they currently are to where they want to go. Since the solution involves indoor scale data processing, the typical time to prepare the maps for use is 10 to 15+ days depending on the amount and format of data used to create the indoor maps. However, processed data can be deployed incrementally and in parallel so you can begin using ArcGIS Indoors capabilities as facility floorplans are completed.
