The Government of India restructured National Rural Drinking Water Programme to Jal Jeevan Mission, which aims to provide Functional House Connection to every rural household. Jal Jeevan Mission was launched on August 15, 2019. The purpose of the mission is to provide safe drinking water to all rural households in adequate quantity, desired quality and on a continuous basis at an affordable charge by 2024.

As a part of the programme, Jal Shalas are conducted across the State which involves a 2-day orientation programme where the students are taught about the importance of WSS, source of water and its treatment; followed by fieldwork and various levels of activities with rewards and recognition.

Samaaj Data is a repository of crowd-sourced hyper-local data on climate and governance. The data collected on the streets using the chatbot is cleaned and visualized on the Samaaj Data (samaajdata.org).

The data is also visualized using Dashboards which gives the summary of the datasets collected for easier interpretation and analysis.
