Women from "Enemy" Countries Meet in Zürich

A Transnational Network Visualization

Context

In 1927 German activists staged an exhibition ‘‘Peace Movements and Peace Activism in All Countries." The exhibit toured 5 German cities, including Munich. Munich activist  Marie Zehetmaier  was instrumental in collecting materials from all over the world to feature in the exhibit. This poster is one of the items from the exhibit, consisting of snapshots from the 1919 meeting of what was to become the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
