Charlottenlund Castle

Charlottenlund Castle is a red-brick castle built in 1849 in a medieval romantic style.

The oldest city hotel of Sweden: Continental du Sud

In the documentation of Ystad's antiquarian society, it is asserted that this is likely Sweden's oldest city hotel. It opened as an inn during 1829 to welcome travelers and vacationers on their way to the continent, who needed a comfortable place to stay. Over the years, a multitude of guests have had the privilege of staying in the historical rooms once inhabited by famous personalities like Fritiof Nilsson 'Piraten' and Ernst-Hugo Järegård.

Marsvinsholm Castle

Marsvinsholm Castle acquired its current appearance in the mid-19th century. The original castle building was completed in 1648. The castle and park are not open to the public but provide a beautiful environment to pass by.

Skårby Church

Skårby Church dates back to the 1100s and features, among other things, very old frescoes in the choir and vault

Lake Krageholm

Stop at the rest area at Lake Krageholm (Krageholmssjön) for a barbecue, witness the rich birdlife, and explore the nature reserve on Lybeck Island.

Högestads Mosse Nature Reserve

Explore the natural realm of Högestads Mosse! The reserve is primarily composed of wetlands such as marshes and bogs. Dry hillocks and alternating wet areas make the area exceptionally rich in species, some of which are on the red list. Here, you can find up to 300 plant species, accompanied by mammals, frogs, and butterflies. The dense vegetation has left many parts of nature unexplored - even today...

Borrie Church

Borrie Church is one of the oldest and smallest in The diocese of Lund. It was likely built in the first half of the 1100s and exhibits clear inspiration from the Anglo-Irish tradition.
