2015 Headwall Failure
The outfall structures, conveying three storm drain systems, fell down into the receiving stream channel and erosion threatened to undermine the intersection of Suitland Road and Regency Parkway.
The stabilization design involved complex earth moving and grading operations to recontour the more than 250-feet of stream and adjacent banks.
