Johns Family Nature Conservancy Regional Park is over 400 ha of parkland in south Kelowna. It features panoramic views of the valley and The Crags, a popular climbing spot. This park is Canada's third Nocturnal Preserve , a designation by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada ensures artificial light is minimized. There is an easy to moderate trail system and the park connects to Lebanon Creek Greenway Regional Park. Some sections of the park are closed to the public for wildlife conservation.

Regional Parks are open dawn to dusk. Park hours shift seasonally.
Jan 1 to Feb 28 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mar 1 to May 31 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Jun 1 to Aug 31 - 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sept 1 to Oct 14 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Oct 15 to Dec 31 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter: Reduced maintenance of parking areas and facilities from approximately November to April 1.
Directions
The parking lot for Johns Family Nature Conservancy Regional Park is off Chute Lake Road just outside the City of Kelowna boundary. Chute Lake Road turns into a gravel road and the park is less than 1 km along the gravel road.
This park connects to Lebanon Creek Greenway Regional Park Regional Park.
