Illegal dumping is ILLEGAL and you can get in a lot of trouble for doing this including large fines. However, the problem still continues to grow and Boston Mountain Solid Waste District and Washington County are working to fight the problem with more monitoring, better education and more opportunities for people to properly get rid of their waste. This map has been created to help determine what areas need more support and create a better plan for waste management in 2020 and beyond.
