Q&A
- What stands out the most on applications?
- Are there opportunities for people with disabilities, such as mobility. Is it possible to work from home all the time?
- The graduate program seems like a perfect choice for a recent graduate (bachelors or masters level), but what would you suggest for someoene who's about to finish a PhD - still applying for a graduate programme or applying for a permanent role?
- Do you have teams/departments focussing more on satellite data processing?
- Could you share all of the presenter's arcgis storymaps link?
- Did you feel like you were taking a step back going from your civil service job to a graduate scheme? or do people join the grad scheme at all periods of time after graduation
- I am currently coursing a master’s degree in geographic data science, needless to say, my skillset is more quantitative/data-driven, do you think ESRI UK has positions that are a good fit for me
- Where can I find the link to graduate programs for me as a student studying in the UK
- Does working in ESRI provide an opportunity to participate in events such as the just concluded COP26 Conference held in Glasgow?
- What are some of the desirable skills and qualities Esri look for in graduate scheme applicants?
- can we get certificates and where we apply for the jobs can international people apply too who is not in the UK
- A lot of these roles seem very interactive with customers. Is there many 'behind the scene' sort of jobs within the company constructing maps and things like that or is it all more customer-based roles and you don't really do the mapping? I hope that makes sense
- Are the Full time jobs within the Media maps department?
- For the Q&A: I would love to find out if anyone has worked with GIS on ecological projects as opposed to geography which was more talked about? Specifically around making maps and cartography
- Other than being proficient in using ArcGIS, what other programmes would it be beneficial in being proficient in using before applying to the graduate scheme?
