Welcome to the Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway

Welcome!

The Bay Circuit Trail is much more than just a trail, it is a path connecting areas of historical, ecological, and cultural significance. To highlight some of these “gems” the Appalachian Mountain Club has developed this story map so that you can explore the 230-mile trail virtually and perhaps discover some new places along this incredible, close-to-home landscape. We hope you enjoy the journey!

Use the tabs above to navigate through the Bay Circuit Trail as you learn all about the history, nature, indigenous history, and trail work taking place along the trail!
