Area Map to determine communities’ definition of Neighborhood.
The Red Dot / Green Dot Exercise assisted in obtaining residents’ preferences regarding potential design improvements to the Beulah Master Plan Area. The exercise used a visualization technique, allowing citizens and stakeholders to determine preferences for various community / recreational design, landscape and streetscape alternatives.

The Word Association Exercises assisted the Design Team in discerning the attitude towards the area and the ideals the community finds important. Attendees were asked to think of words, concepts, and phrases that describe the current state of the Beulah Master Area and what they envision for the future. As phrases and words are repeated, the Consultant Team placed a tally next to the word or concept.
