Mapping growth in the North Gateway Village: 2001 vs. 2021
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
W.L. Gore Campus Expansion
W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc is a manufacturing company specializing in products derived from fluoropolymers. In 2021, the Gore campus began developing Phase 3 which included a parking garage, parking canopies, solar panel additions, and expansion of exisiting employee lunch patios. As future phases are built, we can expect to see a training center and support buildings.
Residential Development in the North Gateway Core
With the development of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) there is expected to be a large influx of workers. To accommodate these new residents, numerous multifamily residential developments have been proposed within the North Gateway Village Core. The North Gateway Village Planning Committee heard the following cases in the core, Z-28-21-2, Z-30-21-2, Z-59-21-2, and Z-66-21-2, which all proposed multifamily residential developments. Additionally, the developers are working together to create a pedestrian network that incorporates the Paseo del Prado and Skunk Creek Wash.
