This map is intended to provide a general overview of the City's major active projects.
Laguna Niguel City Center Mixed Use Project
General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, Zoning Code Amendment, Site Development Permit, Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Tract Map to develop a new mixed-use project consisting of approximately 158,600 square feet of commercial space (e.g., retail shops, restaurants, office space), a new 16,300 square foot community library, 275 residential apartment homes, parking structure, and extensive walkable open spaces, paseos, and plazas.
South Forbes Multi-Family Residential
Site Development Permit for a six-story multi-family development consisting of 309 units and a parking structure. The Project includes vacation of existing City Right-of-Way, and Right-of-Way improvements.
Vineyard Church
Site Development Permit for the site and use modifications for existing church and Mercy Warehouse.
CUSD Site (Paseo De Colinas) Townhomes
Site Development Permit for a 24-unit townhome development at a Capistrano Unified School District surplus land site.
Cove @ El Niguel
Site Development Permit, Minor Adjustment, and Tentative Tract Map to redevelop a 4.2-acre property with a proposed 22-unit townhome-style residential development. The site previously contained 41 homes demolished following the Via Estoril Landslide in March 1998.
Grace Church
Site Development Permit for the remodel of the existing church and a 108-unit Senior Living Center.
The Village
Site Development Permit to remodel an existing shopping center and add new square footage to accommodate new restaurant uses as well as outdoor seating.
Chick-fil-A
Site Development Permit for modifications to the existing Chick-fil-A drive-through, including constructing a double-lane drive-through with two order boards, installing new site landscaping and drive-through canopies, and increasing the building from 3,809 SF to 4,218 SF.
Chevron Remodel
Site Development Permit and Conditional Use Permit to enlarge the C-store and remodel the existing repair shops. The existing canopy will be demolished and remodeled.
